Travelling by Train

Oxford Station – please note  if travelling from the Midlands/North do not disembark at Oxford Parkway (as this is not in the city centre).

It is a pleasant 10 min walk to the Town Hall (taxis are available at the front of the station but could take longer than 10 mins to get you there!)

As you come out of the station turn left onto Frideswide Square (You will see a large modern building on your left, which is the Saïd Business School) Continue on the right hand path up Park End Street which becomes New Road (This is a slight incline) walking past the Castle Complex. Cross over at the junction using the pedestrian crossing and follow the pedestrianised street past the Westgate Shopping Centre. Continue past Marks and Spencers (on your right). At the cross roads (Carfax) cross the road at the pedestrian crossing (next to Santander) and turn right heading down St. Aldates. The Town hall (OX1 1BX) is 10 metres on your left.
