Free Data Analysis Training for Fraud Investigators

An Update From Technology 4 Business

Are you looking to add data skills to your fraud team?

You most likely already know that proactive data monitoring and analysis is among the most effective of anti-fraud controls. However, research shows that many counter-fraud teams don’t perform analytics at all or routinely because they lack the skills or the resources required.

Reasons for this include difficulty hiring people with the right skills, challenges with upskilling existing colleagues and not having a budget to outsource or hire freelance data people.

Help is at hand for teams based in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Government funding is immediately available through Technology4Business to fund data technician training (or recruitment) and this can be flavoured specifically to meet the needs of your team.

Format: 12 x 1-day sessions including work-based projects to ensure rapid impact

Structure:  In-house or open course ‘learning-circles’, maximum group size of eight

Duration: Programmes to be completed by 31st March 2021, flexible frequency

Work experience initiative

As an alternative, or in addition to the training of existing staff, if you want to add data skills to the mix of your team and you are able to offer a work experience opportunity for a period between January 2021 and March 2021, we have 350 trainees (aged 19+) awaiting the start of financial or digital apprenticeships that are taking the Data Technician Accelerator Programme to enhance their employability.

The trainees would be assigned an experienced job coach and data mentor to ensure they hit the ground running and have an impact whilst minimising employer management time.

Please let us know if you would like more information about this, it could be a very rewarding initiative. Thank you!
